Aims & Objectives

We aim to offer an environment in which children can experience a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, secure, friendly and happy atmosphere. This offers opportunities to learn and develop through play, form relationships and meet challenges that life presents. All families, family members, carers and children benefit from our policy which ensures equality to all, regardless of ethnicity, language or abilities throughout the setting.

Your child will be allocated a key person, a dedicated staff member who will liaise with you regarding your child during his/her time with us.

We Offer Children :-

  • a curriculum enabling each child to work towards the early learning goals at their own pace and in a way which suits them.
  • A high ratio of staff, which enables more individual care and attention.
  • Socialising opportunities with adults and children.
  • Support of a key person.
  • Opportunities for family members to be involved in the groups activities and in progress made.

SETTLING
Before your child attends, we can arrange to visit at home and always recommend that you and your child visit us to meet the staff in the setting. This will give you time to ask questions and helps your child to settle.

Settling is a very important part of learning. Sensitively approached, your child will gain confidence and feel secure in the group which can take as long as your child needs. If your child becomes distressed during the first few sessions we will contact you, so it is important that we have your correct details.
